A gallery from our visit to Morocco this autumn. Among the hightlights are: the High Atlas with the highest peak in northern Africa Djebel Toubkal 4167m, Marrakech with its famous Djemaa El Fna, Todhra gorge and its palmery, Erg Chebbi – a real sand desert, Fes – the oldest medieval muslim town today, blue Chefchauen – the home of kif, and Essaouira.
Stuck between India and Tibet this kingdom is probably best known for the highest point on earth – mount Everest 8848m. Part af the initial drive to go there was to have a glimpse of the „top of the world“. As it turned out there is much, much more to see there than that.
