Yaks are THE universal Himalayan domesticated animal. Used primarily for howling stuff back and forth on the absolutely inaccessible to any vehicle trails, these sometimes ill tempered beasts are also bred for their milk, meat and dung. The latter is dried and burned in stoves as trees are scarce.
